Athens Biodiesel, LLC is an Alabama based biodiesel company dedicated to providing an environmentally friendly and a quality assured alternative to petroleum fossil fuels.
The 40 million gallon per year facility entered production in July 2008. Athens Biodiesel, LLC is a member of the National Biodiesel Board and is seeking BQ 9000 certification through the NBB.
Athens Biodiesel, LLC tests all biodiesel produced according to ASTM D 6751 Standards and/or EN 14214 Standards. No product enters the market with out undergoing compliance testing to ensure it meets prescribed testing criteria mandated by U.S. and/or International regulatory agencies.
Athens Biodiesel, LLC is committed to promoting change in the world from creating fuel that is safer for the environment to supporting local community, U.S. and International projects. Athens Biodiesel, LLC donates a percentage of annual funds to a non-profit organization PUSH 4 Change.
